Description :
By simultaneously monitoring surface runoff using a runoff plot and splash detachment using piezoelectric saltation sensors, the AA. obtained the temporal variation in flow depth data and splash detachment data from both cypress stands. They discuss the quantitative comparison of splash detachment and raindrop kinetic energy, the effect of antecedent rainfall on the rate of splash detachment, and the effect of flow depth on the temporal variation in splash detachment during a rainstorm event.
