Description :
The two main objectives of this paper are, first, to present a review and a synthesis of the impacts of vegetated filters on sedimentological connectivity both locally and distributed at the catchment scale, considering experimental, theoretical and modelling aspects; and second, to critically review how present-daywater erosion models take anthropogenic structure (including vegetated filter) effects into account.
