Description :
The first paper proposes an analytic attention to the charged atmospheres of everyday life. The second paper reflects on a simple journey to investigate the relationship between aerial space and the elemental relational materialism produced by fog. The third paper argues that the radically dissipative geographies evoked in the poems of Celan could extend critical geographic inquiry into a multiple and turbulent materiality. The fourth paper explores the topic of haunted sound and its significance within minimalist thought. The fifth paper explores some examples of recent art projects that facilitate our aesthetic experience of the sky and celestial events. The sixth paper asks how contemporary assumptions change if geography is more focused on the space of the aerosphere.
