Protected areas are known for their cultural and natural heritage, but the protection brings measures which represent obstacles for development. Agriculture is part of those measures and it is increasingly transformed into organic farming. The paper is based on organic farming research in three protected areas in Slovenia: Triglav National Park, Kozjansko Regional Park and Goričko Landscape Park. Results were gathered by interviewing people, responsible for development of agriculture. - (L'A.).
