The aim of the study is to demonstrate and to understand the scientific basis of the climate change controversy, to review the theories of uncertainty, which extremely challenge the scientific consensus and evidence in climate change science: the debate of the medieval warm period and the “hockey stick curve”, the solar activity and the role of the ocean cycles, which might be a significant topic in the future debates. - (AM)
