Influence of landuse on soil erosion risk in the Cuyaguateje watershed (Cuba)

Description :
The aim of this study was to identify erosion risk areas by applying the RUSLE model within the V Aniversario watershed, a subwatershed of the Cuyaguateje watershed. Data are provided for the RUSLE factors estimated for the study area. The AA. further examined to what extent landuse changes (forest converted into arable land) over the period 1985-2000 influenced the erosion risk, and the impact of different landuse systems on soil loss.
