The aim of this study was to use a pragmatic approach to model the effect of soil and water conservation (SWC) measures on runoff and erosion at catchment scale, using a process-based erosion model (LISEM). The study area is the Gikuuri catchment, in Embu District, Kenya. Results and discussion.
