Channel-unit hydraulics on a pool-riffle channel

Auteur :
WOHL, E.

Description :
The North Fork Poudre River has immobile boundaries over the range of discharges examined in this study. The primary objectives of this study were to determine whether velocity reversal could be detected over the annual average range of discharge in this fixed boundary channel with laterally constricted pools, and to explore potential controls on observed patterns of velocity and water surface gradient among channel units.
