The paper shows that the sacred places are in a process of change. This particularly applies to a secular city such as Prague. The Czechs are predominantly non-religious (nearly 70 %). We can discern in Prague three categories of sacred places : religious, national, secular. The traditional religious places are rarely visited and are not longer integrated into the present society. On the other hand, the secular sacred places expand and they appear to be much more widely spread in the spatial structure of the city. - (EN)
