The article is an investigation of Saharan dust outbreaks detected frequently over the African coast of the Mediterranean Sea from February to April and in October. Analysing the satellite images, the AA. investigate the origin and the direction of transport, the dust and sand concentration of the outbreaks and other events and their effect on the weather. - (AM)
