A reply to two special geographical reports included in a recently published volume that celebrates Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of Genua University has been given by an old profesor of this Faculty. He considers insufficient the historical method in all type of geographical researches and inadequate those reports to illustrate the progress realized by geographers of Genua because of a lack of informations and right evaluation of their scientific and organizing activity at national and international level in the last sixty years. - (NF)
