This thesis presents an information fusion method for improving the accuracy of land-use classification based on high-resolution satellite imagery. The method integrates spectral, spatial, and structural information existing in the image. It has proved effective in generating sharp interclass boundaries and reducing the number of mixed pixels. - (IFL)
