Description :
This paper summarizes the results of a complex physical geographical survey in the Püspökszilágy area. This is a nuclear waste disposal site where low and medium activity nuclear waste is disposed, deriving from the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. As part of the study soil profiles were taken and analysed, geomorphological, slope category maps were prepared, and the extent of soil erosion was calculated. As a result future surface modifications and soil cover removal were expressed in tons/hectar and mm/year. - (JS)
