Description :
The aim of this study is to examine secondary dispersal in exclosures, and more specifically to test the hypotheses that seeds of African wild olive deposited under the protective crowns of shrubs are less likely to be lost by surface wash than seeds in the bare inter-plant areas; and that seeds in the latter are more likely to be translocated by runoff to microsites under shrubs than to other open areas. The study area is located in the Geba river catchment, central Tigray, northern Ethiopia.
