Description :
This paper presents data from the first year of a project, which was set up during the summer of 2002, with the objectives of quantifying the energy fluxes in the active layer and determining the thermal offset for different types of surface characteristics and sub-surface material. Data from the 5 new boreholes will be discussed here.
