Restructurization and modernization of the food sector and the development of rural areas (2004-2006) is one of the most interesting projects implemented on the local level. The aim of the project is : to raise the standard of living and work in the country, to enhance tourist and investment attraction of the countryside, to satisfy social and cultural needs, to develop the identity of the rural community and to preserve the cultural heritage as well as to stimulate the activity of the local milieu. The decisive factors in directing the project for implementation are the projects selection criteria, i.e. a definite set of formal and substantial requirements, which the projects have to meet in order to obtain financial aid. - (BJ)
