Dni z pogoda parna na obszarze Polski

Journées avec un temps étouffant en Pologne

Auteur :
FALARZ, M.

Description :
Occurrence of sultry weather situations (e >= 18.8 hPa) in Poland. Account was taken of data for the years 1961-2000 from 53 Polish meteorological stations. Data from selected stations were further employed in studying the directions and magnitudes to changes in the phenomena under study in the second half of the 20th century, as well as the course and persistence of sultry weather states through the day. Over most of Poland, a statiscally-significant increasing trend for the number of sultry days was observed in the second half of the 20th century and also a trend towards an increase in the number of cases in which sultry weather persisted for at least 24 hours. The least favourable bioclimatic confitions from the point of view of sultriness are in the south-east of the country (albeit away from the mountains). - (BJ)
