The article offers a description of the relief and surface sediments in the Świecie Basin, a section of the valley of the lower Vistula. The valley floor is shown to feature, not only fluvial forms, but also cave-in lakes and kettleholes left behind by dead ice. Ablational cover more than 3 m thick is also seen to be present. - (BJ)
