Description :
Pollen analysis of sediments from a high-altitude (4215 m) Neotropical Andean lake was conducted in order to reconstruct local and regional vegetation dynamics since deglaciation. The objective is to reconstruct the vegetation dynamics at a centennial-scale, and provide insights concerning the ecological sensitivity of Andean biomes to past climate forcings.
