The paper presents an attempt of applying the new bio-thermal index of Subjective Temperature (STI) for evaluation of thermal sensations in man during summer mountain tourism. Thermal sensations reported by tourists were compared with the ranges of STI calculated for the actual weather conditions. - (BJ)
