We present the main features of the international agreements on the climate change : the intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) created in 1988 and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (Rio, 1992). Recent developments of these institutions are highlighted from Kyoto Protocol (1997) up to now. - (BJ)
