Variabilité des précipitations sous forme de neige à Pogórze Karpackie

Description :
The Gaik-Brzezowa and Szymbark series of daily weather observations and measurements was used to analyse the variability of the number of days with snowfall and the total snowfall during the cold season (Nov.-Apr.) in the period 1971-2000 in the Carpathian Foothills. The most frequent snowfalls occur under the following three cyclonic situations : western advection (Wc), North-Western (NWc) and the cyclonic trough (Bc). Most snowfalls (79%) occurr in air temperatures between -5 and 5°C. - (BJ)
