A new approach to soil characterisation for hydrology-stability analysis models

Description :
The AA. introduce a new analytical method for determining hydraulic conductivity (K) derived from percentages of the mineralogical structure constituents. They incorporate this method within a hydrology-slope stability model structure and develop an application to illustrate the potentially restrictive influence that conventional parameterisation of K can have. They conclude in suggesting the possible revision of site investigation procedures.
