Description :
The AA. investigate the large-scale structure of atmospheric dust and its relationship with the processes governing surface geomorphology and atmospheric circulation. Specifically, they describe the mean global distribution of mineral dust, identify the key regions of deflational activity and the associated geomorphological context, assess the relative magnitude of various source areas, and consider the relationship of atmospheric dust and tropospheric transport mechanisms.
