Patterns of daily rainfall in Bangladesh during the summer monsoon season : case studies at three stations

Description :
Results of the statistical analyses of daily rainfall at 19 weather stations in Bangladesh, for the months of May through October, for the 35-yr. period 1964-1998 are presented in this paper. Emphasis has been given to the patterns of daily rainfall during the wettest and driest summer monsoon seasons at 3 stations. The results of this study will also be useful for the management of floods and for agricultural and regional planning purposes in Bangladesh.
