This paper seeks to assess the impact of the former State Farms and the forms of large-scale management once engaged in on them to the level of unemployment to be found in the agriculture of parts of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship. The analysis of State Farms took in their locations and proportion of all agricultural land accounted for in 1992 on the one hand, as well as the results of the restructuring of Treasury-owned farms and large-scale agrarian management (in relation to commercial-law companies and Treasury-owned farms in administration in 1999). - (BJ)
