Here, the AA. present a relatively high-resolution molecular fossil record from the Yuanbo loess-paleosol profile near Lanzhou in northwest China to show its correlation with paleoclimate proxies (loss magnetic susceptibility and marine oxygen isotope data) since the last interglaciation and, most importantly, to evaluate its relationship with the δ13C signal of bulk organic matter.
