Description :
In order to test the time-transgressive Holocene Optimum model in southern China, a 4-m core was taken from the Dahu Swamp, Jiangxi, for high-resolution chronological, pollen, and other proxy studies. The results indicate that the Holocene Optimum occurred between ca. 10,000 and 6000 cal yr ago in southern China, consistent with the global pattern.
