Erosion, isostatic response, and the missing peneplains

This paper examines the question of why few (or no) modern peneplains exist, in the context of interactions between erosional unloading (or depositional loading) and isostatic response. The A. will be argue that the paucity of peneplains can be explained on the basis of the fundamental nature of the relationship between erosion deposition, elevation, and isostatic adjustments.
