Description :
The functional classification carried out for rural areas in 2000 allowed for the distinguishing of 10 functional classes combined into 5 groups. The analysis of the functional differentiation to rural areas in 1988 and 2000 revealed that areas in which the agricultural function prevailed or participated had been characterized by a decline in the productive and market significance of that agriculture. - (BJ)
