La situation démographique de la Fédération de Russie à la lumière de la littérature russe sur le sujet

The first part of the article presents the demographic processes that were shaped in the Russian Federation in the 1990s. The changes in the population anticipated up to 2050 are then presented, with the results of analysis revealing that Russia is threatened with serious depopulation. The fact that number of people is declining has become a source of noisy debate that takes in both scientific and academic circles in the country. The opinions and views put forward are discussed. - (BJ)
