Referring to the prospects highlighted by Vidal de la Blache and Hartshorne, the A. claims for human geography the credit of being the only discipline which has been dealing theoretically with the topic of difference for ever a century, while at the same time building methodologies and carrying out research on it. He finally points to the benefits which the didactics of this discipline in Italy could derive from the cultural innovations called for in Seul, at the 29th International Congress. - (NF)
