Description :
The La Cagalière duplex is an hectometric-scale structure with good exposures offering both dip and strike profiles. An important geometrical feature of the La Cagalière duplex is the lack of lateral persistence along strike. The purpose of this article is to understand why and how a duplex developed with this lack of lateral persistence at the tip of a larger thrust fault. The AA. present the regional geology and duplex geometry, so as to construct a viable and admissible kinematic scenario.
