L'étude du comblement du marais de La Perroche (île d'Oléron, France) au cours des 6 000 dernières années montre un système soumis à une sédimentation de haut niveau marin réglée par une alternance d'influences marines, puis de plus en plus continentales pour aboutir à la morphologie actuelle.
