Description :
The Tübingen research group of the MABIS project examined mass movements on the Swabian Jurassic escarpment, the Keuper cuesta and the glacially formed Deggenhausen valley, using geomorphologic and pedologic field mapping, differentiation of solifluction layers and mineralogical analyses. In addition, all known landslides were recorded, statistically analysed and evaluated in a data bank. The results are important for the compilation of computer-assisted hazard maps.
