Description :
On the both sides of the border differences in socio-economic development, in prosperity and wages are on the increase. Slow economic stabilisation on the polish side are confrontated with the fact, that in the oblast of Lwiw large sections of the population are falling below the poverty level. In spite of all problems people have been working towards reconciliation and cooperation on the political and cultural level. The minorities on both sides are seen more as an important bridge in the neighbourly relations. - (HPB)
