Description :
Four representative profiles of poorly developed soils on consolidated material are studied in the Sierra de Carrascoy, in order to classify them and establish the pedogenetic processes which have given rise to their formation. They hoped to demonstrate that some of the soils are remains of old fersiallitic soils, which were previously dominant but in the current climatic conditions are being replaced by poorly developed soils (i.e. regressive evolution).
