Vertebrate feeding guilds in California's Sierra Nevada : relations to environmental condition and change in spatial scale

Description :
This study investigates the importance of scale in the functional (feeding guild) and taxonomic (species and classes) characteristics of vertebrate communities along an elevational/environmental gradient in the Sierra Nevada of California, and compares the results with a similar but broader-scale analysis of vertebrate community structures throughout the western third of the United States.
