The sour Nocerino Sarnese has to face out a series of problems linked to the mixing of economic activities, to the acceleration of the phenomenons of concentration and to the hydrographic pollution. The A. examines projects and programmes for a possible improvement and economic recovery of this district. The approval in the 1996 of the Territorial Pact for the occupation, to which ten communes have stuck, seems to constitute an opportunity in such direction.
