I too of the wild hills : experience, meaning, and place
Auteur :KENNEDY, T.
Description :
Presidential address to the APCG's 63rd annual meeting. Arcata, California, September 16, 2000. She tries to give listeners a sense of some of the places she has experienced, with particular emphasis on human-environmental interactions. According to her, people are in relationship with places, and our initial affective response to that environment never leaves us, although it may change with time through experience and involvement. She discusses her relationship with several places, including the Sierra Nevada, northern New Mexico, and Yosemite Valley. - (SLD)
