This paper summarises the professional work of the internationally well-known geographer-cartographer count Paul Teleki. Teleki's (1879-1941) professional work received high international reputation in the fields of cartography, historical and political geography, ethnic geography. Teleki as an active politician was Prime minister of hungary twice in the inter-war period, and commited suicide when Hungary actively entered World War II. - (JS)
