This study presents a solution for the increasing challenges and danger caused by floods of the Tisza river. According to the concept presented here the probability of floods can drop to 1 in 8 as a result of the further development of the conceptual plan of the water management administration focusing on the harmonisation of the relationship between landscape and Man. - (JS)
