Description :
Meteorological and climatical observations of the physician J.C. Rost at Zakupy (north Bohemia) in the years 1718-1720 published by a Wroclaw physician J. Kanold, are analysed. These observations are so far the oldest ssystematic instrumental daily measurements in the Czech territory. The reccords were utilised for the interpretation of temperature and precipitation patterns of months. - (MS)
