Spatial prediction in hydrology : status and implications in the estimation of hydrological processes for applied research

Description :
The aim of this paper is to discuss current status in spatial prediction in hydrology as related to the estimation of hydrological processes particularly in areas where a shortage of hydrometeorological data exists. Emphasis will be on the integrated use of indirect methods, remote sensing, and geographical information system techniques and geomorphological knowledge.
