Description :
This paper focuses on the last glacial-interglacial transition in the Great Basin by presenting the results of interdisciplinary investigations at the Sunshine Locality, a buried, Paleoindian archaeological site that contains a terminal Pleistocene/early Holocene stratigraphic record. This study supports the notion that local geomorphic change is associated with a regional environmental shift linked to global climatic events during the terminal Pleistocene/early Holocene.
