Between the eight development regions in Romania, the 5th West Region is one of the most dynamic concerning the establishment and development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The favourable business climate, the economical potential of the territory, the advantageous geographical position in the western part of Romania, the entrepreneurial culture, and the spirit of the population in this part of the country are some factors that contributed to the strong development of the SMEs sector in the West Region. - (IfL)
