Quaternary marine terraces on the southern side of the Gibraltar strait and on the northen Atlantic Coast of Marocco : lithostratigraphy, provenance and drainage patterns.

Description :
New lithostratigraphic data have been collected from stratigraphic sections in Quaternary marine terraces located along the northen Atlantic and southern Gibraltar Strait coasts (Marocco). Petrographic analyses of detrital modes of the arenites, show that these roks are litharenites. Biocalcarenites have been found only at the Diki-Ksar-Sghir section. - (NF)
