The paper deals about successful ways of co-operative planning for regional development and about strategically success potentials which are able to give orientation in such processes. After an introduction about the problem-background and the type of investigation follows a description of factors of success and obstacles. After the identification of strategically success potentials, impact between these potentials are discussed. Finally recommendations about the design of planning-strategies are given. - (IfL)
