An assessment of clast macrofabrics in glacigenic sediments based on A/B plane data

Description :
The aim of this paper is to provide A/B plane-and-poles-to-plane fabric data for glacigenic deposits of known origin which can be employed as control samples in assessments of sediment genesis, especially diamictons, in glacial environments. The clast macrofabric data presented in this paper are compiled from previous studies on glacitectonized lake sediments and subglacial tills, and from new research on glacimarine and glacilacustrine deposits.
