Description :
This Special Issue compiles 10 reports of contemporary research on Quaternary landscape change and modern geomorphic processes across western North America. The first paper, Brocklehurst et al. adresses the relative efficacy of fluvial and glacial erosion in mountain settings. Then 2 papers : Climate during the last glacial maximum in the Wasatch and southern Uinta Mountains inferred from glacier modeling : Laabs et al.; Late Pleistocene climate inferred from the reconstruction of the Taylor River glacier complex, southern Sawatch Range, Colorado : Brugger. The next 3 papers address lacustrine and fluvial systems : Davis et al., Carter et al., Carson, Dethier et al. Then 3 papers focuse on hillslope systems and weathering : Dethier et al., Nash et al., Putkonen et al.
